     Dorothy May Catchlove was born on 6 July 1911 at Weybridge, Surrey. She was the daughter of Ernest Robert Catchlove and Mary Elizabeth S Roberts. Dorothy May Catchlove registered with Walton & Weybridge Urban District Council under the National Registration Act. on 29 September 1939. She died in January 2002 at North Surrey R D, Surrey, at age 90.

Clarence Arthur Catchlove

M, b. 19 July 1911, d. June 1980
     Clarence Arthur Catchlove was born on 19 July 1911 at Southampton. He was the son of Henry John Catchlove and Charlotte Kate Winter. Clarence Arthur Catchlove began military service on 19 March 1927 as JX129575 - Boy Class II, Royal Navy at HMS Ganges the Training School at Shotley. He was a dairy boy on 19 March 1927. He was posted to Gosport for further training at HMS St Vincent shore establishment on 1 June 1927. He was advanced to Boy Class I on 27 November 1927. He joined the Iron Duke class battleship HMS Marlborough on 13 January 1928. He transferred to the battlecruiser HMS Tiger on 4 September 1928. On reaching 18 years of age he signed on for a further 12 years service. He was 5'9.6" tall with a 35" chest, brown hair, brown eys and fresh complexion. He had a scar on the back of his neck. He was presented with his Royal Navy Long Service and Good Conduct Medal whilst serving as P/JX129575 Petty Officer aboard HMS Diadem on 6 October 1944. He married Ismay Lillian Goodwin in December 1944 at Bournemouth, Bournemouth Christchurch and Poole. Clarence Arthur Catchlove died in June 1980 at Bournemouth, Bournemouth Christchurch and Poole, at age 68.
