     James Allan Calder Cameron was born in 1872 at Edinburgh (Dùn Èideann); wa the son of Andrew and Jessie Hutcheon Calder(nee Allan.) In January 1901 the adjourned meeting of creditors of his company (Lowther& Cameron, coal merchants of Guildford, Surrey) was held at Carey Street, London to enable James to make a proposal as to a 9s in the pound payment to creditors to whom he owed £19,513 with £8,929 of assets. These figures were contested as it was believed thatsince the original hearing his liabilities were higherand assets lowe/ The hearing was adjourned until 17 January to obtian more information and the business continued oi trade. As of 31 March 1901, James Allan Calder Cameron lived at Quarry Road 1, Wandsworth, Greater London; his sister Jessie was living with him. He was a coal merchant on 31 March 1901. In December 1903 he attended a meeting at Chudleigh Town Hall in Devon as a delegate of the Tariff Reform League but the meeting became unruly when i became obvious that the Chudleigh Radicals and their fellow Radicals from Bovey Travey intended to highjack the meeting. A meeting later that week at Teignmouth was abandoned as it appears that there was no publicity in support of the meeting so nobody attended other than the speakers. He married Annie Eliza Biroth, daughter of Nikoloroz Biroth and Anna Theize, in June 1907 at Kingston-upon-Thames R D, Greater London. As of 2 April 1911, James Allan Calder Cameron lived at Oakmead Road 59, Balham, Greater London. He was a Labour Exchange manager on 2 April 1911. He died in December 1932 at Wandsworth R D, Greater London.
