As of 10 November 1859, William Hann lived at Cape Freels, Bonavista Bay, Newfoundland. He married Mary Humphries, daughter of Jonas Humphries and Susannah Rideout, on 10 November 1859 at Greenspond - St Stephen's Church, Bonavista Bay, Newfoundland. William Hann was a fisherman between 31 May 1863 and 1871. He a witness at the marriage of Susan Hann (dau) and Jacob Stokes     on 4 June 1882 at Cape Freels - Cape Cove, Bonavista Bay, Newfoundland. He died on 11 December 1914 at Cape Freels - Cape Cove, Bonavista Bay, Newfoundland, at age 78.¹ He was buried after 11 December 1914 at Cape Freels - Cape Cove United Church Cemetery, Bonavista Bay, Newfoundland.

     Abel Hann was born on 5 March 1838 at Cape Freels - Cape Cove, Bonavista Bay, Newfoundland.¹ He was the son of William Hann and Mary Ann Young.¹ Abel Hann was christened on 2 August 1838 at Greenspond - St Stephen's Church, Bonavista Bay, Newfoundland; was registered as Able Hand. He died on 25 August 1856 at at sea, Newfoundland, at age 18; drowned when quarreling with his brother David. He fell overboard from their boat transporting fish and oil from Cape Freels to St John's.¹

     Mary Jane Hann was born in 1843 at Cape Freels, Bonavista Bay, Newfoundland.¹ She was the daughter of William Hann and Mary Ann Young.¹ Mary Jane Hann was christened on 30 June 1843 at Cape Freels, Bonavista Bay, Newfoundland; was registered as Mary Jane Hand.¹ She died after 30 June 1843 at Cape Freels - Cape Cove, Bonavista Bay, Newfoundland.¹
