He died on 25 April 1932 at Beaminster R D, Dorset, at age 73; The old paper family trees written up by George Ernest Hann, the person who first tried to research the Dorset Hann families, show George as having died on 25 Apr 1932 with Stoke Abbott in brackets. I have been unable to substantiate this as, although the death was registered in Beaminster R D (as was Melbury Osmond though he does not appear in the Dorset OPC site list of monumental inscriptions), there is no entry for such in the Stoke Abbott burial registers.
