He was a retired farmer on 7 April 1861. As of 7 April 1861, George Wakely lived at Meerhay - Cherry Cottage Farm, Beaminster, Dorset; was staying with Simon Bowditch (agricultural labourer) and his family. As of between 31 March 1901 and 2 April 1911, Charlotte Morgan lived at Horsemore Green - Baker's shop, Langley Marish, Slough; in 1901 was living her sons, Herbert Harry (16), Reginald Arthur (14) and Clarence Charles (7), all born in Langley. She was a baker on 2 April 1911.
