He died in December 1908 at Casnewydd (Newport) at age 54.

     Ivor Berry was born on 7 February 1924 at Casnewydd (Newport). He was the son of William Berry and Lilly Warry. Ivor Berry died in December 1989 at Casnewydd (Newport) at age 65.

     Norah Evelyn Verrinder was born on 25 April 1913 at Casnewydd (Newport). She was the daughter of George Verrinder and Anna Warry. Norah Evelyn Verrinder married William J Berry, son of William Berry and Lilly Warry, in June 1935 at Casnewydd (Newport). Norah Evelyn Berry died in September 2000 at Caerffili (Caerphilly) at age 87.

     George Verrinder was born on 29 November 1915 at Casnewydd (Newport). He was the son of George Verrinder and Anna Warry. George Verrinder married Irene Vera Wills in June 1940 at Croydon R D, Greater London. George Verrinder died in June 1971 at Surrey South Eastern R D, Surrey, at age 55.

     Christopher Benjamin Verrinder was born in March 1919 at Casnewydd (Newport). He was the son of George Verrinder and Anna Warry. Christopher Benjamin Verrinder served with 1st (Rifle) Battalion, Monmouthshire Regiment, Territorial Army before January 1937. He was a merchant seaman between January 1937 and 5 March 1943. He died on 5 March 1943 at SS Empire Tower, North Atlantic (NW of Lisbon); having been torpedoed by U-130 along with other ships of convoy XK-2 - SS Fidra, SS Ger-y-Bryn and SS Trefusis. He is commemorated on the Tower Hill Memorial in the City of London and on page 7 of the Newport Role of Honour (details of which- including photo - can be found at www.newportsdead.shaunmcguire.co.uk/V.htm after 5 March 1943.
