He was possibly the Henry Hann esq who was involved with a declaration of uses as a feoffee, with Robert (Earl of Essex), Richard (Viscount Lumley), Sir Richard Gurney kt bt, Lord Mayor of London Sir Christopher Newton KB of Newton St Lowe in Somerset, Sir George Whitmore kt and Henry Jackson, gent and fellow Alderman William Rolfe (all of London) of Henry Smith's Charity to the churchwardens and overseers of Hurstpierpoint in May 1642. As of 1647, Henry Hande lived at Woodbury, Devon.
