Last Will and Testament of Emma Hann (nee Catchlove) (1885-1976)
This is the last Will and Testament
of me EMMA HANN of 2 Salisbury Villas Rownhams in the County
of Hants Widow
1. I HEREBY revoke all former testamentary dispositions made by me
2. I APPOINT my Son EDMUND PHILIP HANN of 2 Salisbury Villas
Rownhams aforesaid to be the sole Executor of this my Will
3. I BEQUEATH my leasehold messuage situate and known as 2,
Salisbury Villas Rownhams aforesaid unto my four Sons namely
Charles Harry Hann, Edmund Philip Hann, Arthur John Hann and
Ralph Eric Gordon Hann in equal shares or to the survivors or
survivor of them absolutely
4. I DEVISE AND BEQUEATH unto my Executor all the rest residue
and remainder of my real and personal estate and effects
whatsoever and wheresoever upon trust to sell call in and convert
the sum into money with power to postpone the sale calling in
and conversion thereof so long as he shall in his absolute
discretion think fit without being liable for loss
5. MY Executor shall hold the net proceeds of the said sale and
conversion and my ready money upon the following trusts:-
(a) Upon trust to pay thereout all my just debta and funeral
and testamentary expenses
(b) Subject thereto upon trust for my two Sons namely the said
Edmund Philip Hann and Ralph Eric Gordon Hann in equal shares
or to the survivor of them absolutely
6. PROVIDED that if any child of mine shall die in my lifetime
leaving issue living at my death such issue if and when they
attain the age of twenty-one years shall take by substitution and
if more than one in equal shares per stirpes the share of my
estate which such deceased child of mine would have taken if he
had survived me but so that no issue shall take whose parent
is alive at the date of my death and so capable of taking
9. I APPROVE of Messrs. Wilfred Light & Reid of 81 Shirley High
Street Southampton aforesaid acting as solicitors un connection
with the administration of my estate
