Last Will and Testament of Edmund Philip Hann (1911-1996)
This is the last Will and Testament
of me EDMUND PHILIP HANN of 2 Salisbury Villas Rownhams Lane Rownhams in
Hampshire
1. I HEREBY REVOKE all former Wills and Testamentary Dispositions
made by me
2. I APPOINT my nephew COLIN MICHAEL JAMES HANN of 100 Oaktree Road
Bitterne Park Siouthampton (hereinafter called "my Trustee") to be the
Executor and Trustee of this my will
3. I GIVE the following legacies free of all taxes
(a) To IMPERIAL CANCER RESEARCH FUND of Lincoln's Inn Fields
London WC2A 3PX the sum of FIVE HUNDRED POUNDS
(b) To the Vicar and Churchwardens of ROWNHAMS CHURCH Rownhams
aforesaid and their sucessors the sum of FIVE HUNDRED POUNDS
upon triust to invest the same in any investments authorised by
law for the investment of trust funds and to apply the income
thereof in keeping the graveyard of the said church in good
order and repair
I DECLARE that the receipt of the treasurer or other proper
officerfor the time being of the above institutions shall in
each case be a sufficient discharge to my Trustee
4. I GIVE AND DEVISE all my estate both real and personal
whatsoever and wheresoever situate unto my Trustee upon trust to sell
call in and convert the same into money with power to postpone such sale
calling in and conversion for so long as he shall in his absolute
discretion think fit without being liable for loss and after payment out
of the money arising thereby or out of my ready money of my debts funeral
and testamentary expenses and legacees my Trustee shall hold the residue
of such monies upon trust for the said COLIN MICHAEL JAMES HANN and
BARBARA FARLEY of 7 Rownhams Close Rownhams aforesaid in equal shares
PROVIDED that if either of the said beneficiaries shall die in my
lifetime leaving issue living at my death who attain the age of Eighteen
years such issue shall take by substitution and if more than one in equal
shares per stirpes the share or residue which such deceased beneficiary
of mine would have taken had he or she had survived me and attained a
vested interest but so that no issue shall take who parentis alive and
capable of taking
5. I APPROVE of Messrs. Wilfred Light & Reid of 89a Shirley High
Street Southampton aforesaid being employed as Solicitors in connection
with the administration of my Estate
