At the inquest on 9th December into the death of William Henry Gould evidence was given by Samuel Hann that he had gone to the deceased room just after six o'clock in the evening and he was alive and well but when he went uip again at half past seven he found him dead in bed.

Dr Hubert Thomas stated that about two months ago he had been visited by the deceased in connection with a lung complaint and that one lung was 'gone' and the other was in grave condition

A verdict of death from natural causes was returned
