Transcription of the Last Will and Testament of Violet Gladys Hill

This is the last Will of me VIOLET GLADYS HILL
of 25 Hythe Avenue St. Leonards-on-Sea Sussex

1. I HEREBY REVOKE all former Wills made by me

2. I APPOINT my Solicitors JOHN WILBRAHAM LESTER and GERRALD PETER
FUNNELL both of 31 Havelock Road Hastings Sussex to be the Executors
of this my Will

3. I GIVE the following pecuniary legacies all free of duty:-

(A) The sum of ONE THOUSAND POUNDS to MRS. B. STANLEY of 121 Saltwood
Road Seaford Sussex

(B) The sum of ONE THOUSAND POUNDS to MR. B. CARR of 63 Saltwood Road
Seaford aforesaid

(C) The sum of ONE THOUSAND POUNDS to RONALD JAMES HANN of 72 Imperial
Avenue Southampton Hants

(D) The sum of FIVE HUNDRED POUNDS to DAVID JOY of 126 Muswell Hill
Road Muswell Hill London N10

(E) The sum of FIVE HUNDRED POUNDS to ALISON JOY of 126 Muswell Hill
Road Muswell Hill London N10

4. I GIVE DEVISE AND BEQUEATH all the rest residue and remainder of
my Estate both real and personal whatsoever and wheresoever (after
payment thereout of my just debts funeral and testamentary expenses
and all Estate Duty) unto THE CHESHIRE FOUNDATION HOMES FOR THE SICK
of 7 Market Mews London W1 absolutelly free of duty AND I DECLARE
that the receipt of the Treasure r or other authorised officer for the
time being shall be a sufficient discharge by mr Executors therefor

5. I DECLARE that the said John Wilbraham Lester and Gerald Peter
Funnell being Solicitors shall be entitled to make all usual professional
charges in respect of work done by them or their Firm in relation to the
proving of this my Will and the executorship hereof
