day of December, 1868, the modern and substantial
F U R N I T U R E,
Carpets, Druggets, Chimney Glasses, Feather Beds,
Blankets, Quilts, Bed and Table Linen, Large Show,
Lamp and Bracket, and other Effects, the property
of Mr. G. HANN, who is relinquishing his Business
of te above-named Hotel; comprising:
In No. 1. SITTING ROOM :- Nearly new felt car=
pet 17ft. by 10ft., hearth rug, fender, fire set,
chimney glass in rosewood frame, plate 36in. by
21in. ; eight-day American clock, engraving in
frame, "The Storming of Seringapatam" mahog-
any telescope dining table 6ft. by 4ft. ; work
table, couch with spring seat and carved scrolls
and back ; eight cane-seat chairs, concertina, &c., &c.
In No. 2 SITTING ROOM :- Fely carpet and rug,
fender, fire set, spark guard, chimney glass in rose=
wood frame, mahogony sofa-bedstead, do Pembroke
table, four chairs with cane seats and backs,
ottomans, &c., &c.
IN COFFEE ROOM :- Cocao matting, hearth rug,
febder and fire set, chimney glass in rosewood
frame, pictures, mahogany and deal Pembroke
tables, six and one arm cane-seat chairs, carving
chair, six Windsor chairs, eight-day clock in hand-
some mahogany case, tea and coffee pots, set of
cruets in plated frame, sugar basins, cream jugs,
hot-water-jug, china, glass, table. tea and salt
spoons, mahogany and Japanned trays, brass and
other candlesticks, box of dominoes, wire blind,
dinner ware, carpet slippers, six dozen ginger beer
bottles, &c., &c.
ON THE STAIR-CASE, LANDING and the SEVERAL BED-
ROOMS :-Floor cloths, door mats, half-tester ved-
stead, and hangings, two tent do. and do., French
bedsteads, with poles and hangings, iron do., six
good feather beds, bolsters and pillows, quilts and
counterpanes, blankets, sheets, bolster and pillow
cases, mattresses, toilet cloths, towels, table cloths,
mahogany chest of drawers, painted washstands,
dressing tables, towel horses, commodes, swing
glasses, sets of ware, chairs, carpets, druggets, &c., &c.
OUT-DOORS :-Handsome show lamp and bracket
out-side, large beam, scales and weights, salter,
salting pans, hand cart, galvanised iron furnace and
settings, two-hhd. water cask, 1-hhd. do., do., &c.
Also a quantity of Cabinet Maker's Tools, consist-
ing of trying plane, rebate and groving planes,
rounds and hollows, bead and moulding planes, bow
saws, plough and irons, stock and bits, squares,
bevel, chisels, guages, screw tackle, &c., &c.
