CHARMOUTH
AN IMPROVEMENT .- The wall at Newlands Bridge
which was wasjed away by the flood some little time ago
has been replace with a well-built low retaining wall
coped with Portland cement and surmounted with tubular
rainling supported by substantial oak posts. The work was
efficiently carried out to the satisfaction of the County
Surveyor by Mr. A. B. Hann, builder and contractor of
this place
