In 2017 the much-altered former Holy Trinity Church in Beaminster, now called Trefoil House, sits next to a new development at the top of Fleet Street on the former Abbott Brown factory and land opposite. From the nearby signpost it appears that this development now forms a southern extension of Newtown.
