This is the last Will
of KATHLEEN MARY SHERRING HANN of Flat 2 3 Boxfield Road Axminster in the County of Devon
1. I REVOKE all former wills and testamentary idispositions made by me
2. I DESIRE that my body be cremated for which purposes the monies payable
under my Life Assurance Policy with the Prudential Assurance Company Limited shall
be utilised
3. I APPOINT MIDLAND BANK TRUST COMPANY LIMITED (hereinfater called "the
Company") and my brother HARRY EDWIN HANN who together with the Company are
hereinafter called "my Trustees" to be Executors and Trustees of this my will AND
I DECLARE that the Company is so appointed upon its published Standard Conditions
as now in force (as if the same were her set out) with remuneration as provided by
those conditions and the Company's Standard Scale of Fees in force at my death and
with power to charge remuneration in accordance with any later Standard Scale of
Fees of the Company for the time being in force
4. I GIVE free of ingheritance tax the following pecuniary lagacies:
(a) To my niece ELEANOR CLAIRE FAIRWEATHER the sum of Five Hundred Pounds (£200)
absolutely
(b) To the AXMINSTER HOSPITAL COMFORTS FUND the sum of Fifty Pounds (£50)
absolutely
(c) To the AXMINSTER PARISH CHURCH RESTORATION FUND the sum of Fifty Pounds
(£50) absolutely
(d) To my great nephew ANDREW FAIRWEATHER the sum of One Hundred Pounds (£100)
absolutely
(e) To my great-niece ANNE FAIRWEATHER the sum of One Hundred Pounds (£100)
absolutely
(f) To my friend VIOLET ELLEN SANDFORD the sum of One Hundered pounds (£100)
absolutely
AND I DRECT that the receipt of the person appearing to my Trustees to be the
Treasurer or other proper officer for the time being of the above-named Funds shall
be a full discharge to my Trustees for the legacy given to that legatee
5. I DEVISE AND BEQUEATH the whole of my estate both real and personal subject
to the payment of my debts funeral and testamentary espenses and inheritance tax
and any legaciesbequeathed by this my will or any codicil hereto (herinafter
called "my residuary estate") to my Trustees upon trust to sell call in and convert
the same into money with power yo postpone the sale calling in and conversion for
so long as they think fit and to stand possessed of the net proceeds thereof upon
trust for my brother the said HARRY EDWIN HANN absolutely if he survibes me
PROVIDED ALWAYS that if my said brother shall die before me then for his daughter
the said ELEANOR CLAIRE FAIRWEATHER absolutely
