Notice in the 20 February 1885 edition of the Bridport News regarding the post mortem sale of his properties by his son John Hook Hann

STOKE ABBIOTT, DORSET
To be SOLD by AUCTION, bt Mr.
SMAUEL COX, at the New Inn, Stoke
Abbott, on Wednesday, the 4th day pf March
next, at 4 o'clock p/m/, precisely, subject
to such conditions as will then be produced,
the undermentioned FREEHOLD COTTAGES,
viz:-
Lot 1.- All tthat Cpttage or Dwelling-house
with the Garden and Orchard thereunto adjoining
and belonging, situate in Stoke Abbott aforesaid,
and in the occupation of James Wakely as weekly
tenant.
Lot 2.-All that Cottage or Dwelling-house and
Garden in the occupation of James Meech, and
adjoining Lot 1.
Lot 3.-All those three Cottages or Dwelling-houses
with Wring-house, Cellar, Gardens, and Orchard
thereunto adjoining and belonging, situate in
Stoke Abbott, and occupied by Messrs. Davy,
Travers, and Norris, and the representatives of
the late William Hann.
