In the name of God Amen the seventeenth day of February in the yeare of our Lord God one Thousand Six hundred nynty and three, I John Hanne the Elder of Dallwood in the County of Dorsett yeoman, being sick and weak in body but of sound and perfect remembrance thanks bee Almighty God doe hereby make ordayne and apoynt this present writeing to bee my last will and testament in manner and forme following, And I doe hereby first bequeath my Sole into the hands of Almighty God my Creator and Redeemer, And my body to Christian Buryall, And as for that temporall estate with which God is pleased to endow mee my will is and I doe hereby give devise bequeath and dispose of the same as followeth et

Itim my will is and I doe hereby give and bequeath unto John Hanne my grandson my best table board now standing in my new dwelling house

Itim I give unto John Sansom my grand Child my great bras pan

Itim I give unto my son John Hanne one of my black heffer Bullocks

Itim lastly I doe give all the Rest of my goods and houshould stuff (exept my Reed to thatch my house), which is not herein before given or bequethed nor by any other asignement is asigned, unto my daughter Mary Sansom

And I doe hereby make constitute ordain and apoynt my said Daughter Mary Sansom to bee Sole Executrix of this my last will and testament (in?) witness whereof I the said John Hanne the Elder (do?) hereunto this my last will and testament .......
