Transcription of the codicil to the Will of Richard Waygood (PROB11/1888-262)

This is a Codicil to the Will of me Richard
Waygood of Beaminster in the County if Dorset late Iironmonger Whereas I
have appointed Baruch Fox of Beaminster in the County of Dorset Gentleman
a Trustee and Executor of my said Will now I do hereby revoke such
appointment and in stead do name and appoint my son Richard WWaygood
the younger to be a Trustee and Executor of my said Will and direct that
all and singular the personal State and Effects which but for this Codicil
would by virtue of my said Will have been vested in the said Baruch Fox
either jointly or in severalty shall be vested in my said Son either jointly or
with my Executor or separately as the case may be upon such Trusts as the
same would have been liable to if this Codicil had not been made Witness
my hand this Twenty fourth day of June One Thousand eight hundred and
Thirty seven - The mark of Richard Waygood the Testator-
Signed published and declared by the above testator Richard Waygood
as and for a Codicil to his Will in the presence of us who have subscribed our
