Transcription of the codicicil to the will of William Frampton (PROB11/1761)

This is a Codicil to the last Will and Testament of me
William Frampton of Beaminster in the County of Dorset Biiulder which Will
bears date the thirteenth day of October on thousand eight hundred and twenty
eight Whereas I have in and by my said Will given and bequeathed unto my
dear Wife Mary from and out of my Copyhold hereditaments personal Estate and
yearly Sum of Forty pounds Sterling to be paid to her yearly and every year for and
during the term of her natural life by even and quarterly paymentsthe first payment
thereof to begin and be made at the end of three Calendar months next after my
decease Now I hereby revoke the said device contained in my said Will toor in
favour of my said Wife and in lieu thereof I do give and bequeath to her from and
out of my Copyhold hereditaments personal Estate and Effects in and by my said Will
bequeathed to my said Son John Purchase Frampton one annuity or clear yearly
Sum of Thirty pounds Sterling to be paid to her yearly and every year for and during
the term of her natural life is she shall so long continue my Widow and unmarried the
first payment thereof to begin and be made at the end of three Calendar months next
after my decease provided nevertheless that immediately after the decease or second
marriage of my said Wife the said annuity shall cease and detrmine and in case
the same shall cease and determine by the second marriage of my said Wife I give
and bequeath unto each of my two Daughters one annuity or clear yearly Sum of
Ten pounds Sterling to be respectively paid to them yearly and every year by my said
Son John Purchase Frampton for and during as long time as they shall respectively
remain unmarried the first payment of such respective annuities of Ten pounds each
to commence and be payable to each of my daid daughters at the end of three calendar
months next after the second marriage of my said dear Wife provided nevertheless
that immediately after the decease or marriage of my said daughters respectively
the said annuities shall respectively cease and determine and I hereby ratify and
confirm my said Will in every respect except so far as the same is hereby revoked In
Witness whereof I have hereunto subscribed my name and affixed my seal the
twenty third day of July one thousand eight hundred and twenty nine W Frampton
