Swansea haulier's Cruelty to
a Horse

At the Swansea Police Court on Tues-
day, Albert Edward Hann, haulier was
summoned for cruelty to a horse. Maria
Lacey was summoned for causing the
cruelty. Both defendants denied the
cruelty. There was a long list of previous
convictions-for various offences- against
Hann,-The chairman said the Bench
considered the case an extremely cruel
one. Both defendants, they thought,
were to blamce.-Hann was fined £25, or
three months' imprisonment, and Mrs.
Lacey was fined £5.
