Will of William Catchlove

In the name of God Amen I William Catchlove of Westbourne in the County of Sussex Carpenter being weak and sickly in body but of sound disposing mind memory and understanding do hereby appoint this my last Will and Testament in manner following.

First I commend my soul to Almighty God who first gave it me and my body to be decently buried and as to my worldly goods with which it has pleased God to bless me with

I give in manner following, First that all my just debts and funeral charges be first duly paid and whatever remains such as my household goods wearing apparel with all my bond bills notes of hand with all outstanding debts I give and bequeath to my dearly beloved wife Elizabeth.

Also I hereby niominate and appoint my wife Elizabeth my sole executrix of this my last Will and Testament as witness my hand and seal this eighth day of March one thousand eight hundred and nine
