Charles Harry's last ship, on which he was Quartermaster, the last British Battleship HMS Vanguard.
The ship had a displacement of around 50,000 tons, was nearly 815ft long and 107ft wide, with a top speed of 29.5 knots and eight 15", sixteen 5.25" and seventythree 40mm guns. She was decommissioned in 1960.
