This is the last Will and Testament of me Simon Warren of Monkwood within the Parish of Marshwood in the County of Dorset Yeoman

I give and bequeath unto my dear wife Hannah Warren during such time as she shall remain my Widow an annuity or yearly sum of thirty pounds to commence from the time of my decease and to be paid by equal quarterly payments the first payment thereof to begin and be made at the end of three calendar months next after my decease together with a proportionate sum for any period less than a quarter of a year which may elapse between the last quarterly payment and her decease or second marriage

I give unto my Son Simon Warren and my Friend Joachim Gilbert of Beaminster in the said County of Dorset Surgeon, the sum of four hundred pounds to be paid to them at the end of six calendar months next after the decease or second Marriage of my said wife upon trust to pay distribute and divide the same unto and equally amongst such of the Children of my Daughter Ann the Wife of Thomas Sansom now living or to be born hereafter severally and respectively when and as they shall severally attain the said age

And I direct that while the said sum of four hundred pounds or any part thereof sahll be invested under the trust aforesaid the interest of the said sum or of the invested part or parts thereof shall be paid to my said Daughter Ann Sansom until the said sum or the invested part or parts thereof shall become vested as aforesaid if my said Daughter should so long live for her separate and unalienable use independent of and free from the debts engagements control or interference of any husband and her receipt alone to be a sufficient discharge for the same

And I direct that until the principal trust money shall become vested as aforesaid the same shall be placed out at interest in government security or on the security of lands tenements or hereditaments of my tenure of adequate value in the estimation of my Trustees for the time being and if neither of my said Grandchildren should attain the age of twenty one years then I direct that the interest of the said sum of four hundred pounds sall be paid to my said Daughter during her live for her separate use as aforesaid and that after her decease the said principal sum of four hundred pounds shall sink into and form part of residuary estate. And in case my said Daughter should die during the minority of any child of hers who may afterwards attain the age of twenty one years the interest of the invested share or shares of the said sum until the same shall become vested shall be equally divided between such of my said Grandchildren as shall attain the age of twenty one years

I give and bequeath all the rest residue and remainder of my personal estate and all other estate of which I have power to dispose by this my Will unto my said Son Simon Warren

And I appoint him and the sadi Joachim Gilbert Executors of my said Will

And I direct that they shall not be answerable or accountable for more moneys or effects than shall actually come to their hands by virtue of this my Will nor for any loss which may happen if my moneys or other estate without their wilful neglect or default And that they shall not be answerable for each other, but each of them for his own acts receipts neglects and defaults only And that it shall be lawful for them to retain and allow to each other out of the moneys which may come to their hands by virtue of this my Will their costs and expenses in the execution thereof

This is a Codicil to the Will Simon Warren made and executed immediately after the execution thereof

I give and bequeath unto my dear Wife Hannah Warren during her Widowhood the use and enjoyment of all my household goods and furniture plate linen and devices and from and after her decease or second marriage whichever may first happen I give and beqeath the same unto and equally between my Son Simon Warren and my Daughter Ann Sansom

In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand this eleventh day of January 1845 Simon Warren
