This is the last Will and Testament of me Abraham Wakely of the parish of Burstock in the County of Dorset Yeoman; being at this Time of sound mind memory and understanding
First of all I commend my Soul to God who gave it; and my Body after Death to be decently buried in the Earth;
in the next place I order and appoint my Dear Wife Catherine together with my Son Thomas to be my joynt Executors together of this my last Will and to them and each of them I now give I give and bequeath the Sum of Two Hundred Pounds; Viz if my said Wife shall keep herself in my name so long as she lives she shall have equal right and use of the above Sum of Two Hundred Pounds together with my Son Thomas; but in case she afesd Catherine should marry; the said Two Hundred Pounds shall then Immediately become the sole right of my Son Thomas Wakely;
and I now order and appoint the said Catherine my Wife shall be at her said Marriage if it should hereafter happen to Immediately pay or cause to be paid to my Son Thomas Wakely abovesaid Sum of Two Hundred Pounds;
and as to all my other effects whether Moneys now in House or out on Security; Household Goods; Stock; together with all other my present property whatever shall be equally possessed between my said Wife; and my Son Thomas;
and also I order and appoint that if my said Wife shall happen to die before my Son Thomas; that then my said Son Thomas Wakely shall Immediately take, enter and possess himself of all my siad effects whatsoever;
and also I order and appoint that if I should die before the expiration of my present Lease of Stockham Estate together with all other Lease or Leases whatsoever that my said Wife; together with my Son Thomas shall joyntly possess and occupy as Tennants together ??? the said Terrier Terms be expir'd; and shall have equal share in the profits thereof;
which I now ratify and confirm as my last Will and Testament and hereby revoke all former Wills by me made; and have this Thirtieth Day of Novemebr in the Year of our Lord One Thousand seven Hundred and Sixty three signed my Hand as a Security thereof Abraham Wakely
