This is the last Will and Testament of me Joseph Cox in the Parish of Bothenhampton in the County of Dorset late Custom House Officer made the 29 day of January one thousand eight Hundred and fifty two

First I give and bequeath unto my daughter Eliza Cox the sum of twenty pounds in Cash and all my Houshold Furniture and other effects belonging to me after my Discease

Also I give unto my eldest daughter Harriet Knight the sum of ten pounds

Also I give unto Arthur Cox my Son the sum of Ten Pounds

Also I give unto William Hann Cox my Son the sum of Ten Pounds if he is to be found in one Year after my discease

Also I give unto my Son George Cox the sum of Ten Pounds

Also I give unto my Son Edward Cox the sum of Ten Pounds

Note if the abovenamed William Hann Cox shall not be found after my discease otherwise his Ten Pounds is to be shared equal amongst the other five Children named in this Will

Also I appoint Eliza Cox my Daughter Executrix of the my last Will and Testament in witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and Seal this 29 day of Jany in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty two

NB The above Sums to be paid after the Funeral Expenses

Signed sealed published pronounnced and declared by the said Joseph Cox as his last Will and Testamentin the presence of us who in his presence amd in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our Names
