In the Name of God Amen The fifth Day of July one Thousand
seven Hundred and seventy seven according to the Com-
putation of the Church of England, I Isaac Hann of
Stockland in the County of Dorset [now Devon], being of perfect
memory and remembrance praised be God, do make
and ordainthis my last Will and Testament in mannaer
and form following, that is to sat.
Whereas I have brought my self under obligation
in a Bill to my Grandson Isaac Hann for the payment
of Forty Pounds of lawful English money unto him upon
Trust nevertheless for the separate benefit of my
Daughter Rebekah Colbert of and from all claim
of her husband and the same to be under my Grand-
sons direction and at his disposal, I do give and
Bequeath unto the said Isaac Hann my Grandson at
Cloakham in Axminster Devon, all my Goods and
Chattels, which Goods and Chattels are in the Dwelling
House and on the premises of our eEstate Call Popehayn
in Stockland aforesaide, now in the possession of
Abraham Warry, together with my furniture, silver
Watch, Books, Money by me, and whatsoever I shall
be in the possession of at the time of my Death
for the discharge of the Bill above said - And my
Will is, that what shall remain out of my effects
after the discharge of my Funeral espences shall
be for the special benefit of my Daughter Rachels
children at my Grandsons discretion
Item I give unto my Grand Daughter Rebekah
Colbert Ten pounds which I have in the hands of
my Grandson Isaac Hann, And my Will is to be
Buried in private manner, without any
formal ceremony whatsoever, and do make
my Grandson above Named Sole Executor of this
my last Will revoking all other WIlls by me
made - In witness whereof I hereunto set my hand
and seal the Day and Year first above written
